Declare / LBC Red List FreeFocal Point

"The Declare Label from the International Living Future Institute
Declare is a platform to share and find healthy building products. Manufacturers voluntarily disclose product information on easy-to-read Declare labels, which are accessible on a free database used by leading designers, real estate owners, and conscientious homeowners to specify products they know they can trust.

By facilitating and simplifying the exchange of complex ingredient information, Declare has positively changed the materials marketplace to enable the creation of buildings that support human and environmental health.
Red List Free

Declare screens a product’s ingredients directly against the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List, saving project teams from the arduous task of vetting products by hand. The LBC Red List contains the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements known to pose serious risks to human health and the greater ecosystem that are prevalent in the building products industry.

LBC RED LIST FREE products disclose 100% of ingredients present at or above 100 ppm (0.01%) in the final product and do not contain any Red List chemicals."

Declare/Third Party Verified/ USGBC/WELLFineliteOver 90% of our portfolio has received third-party verified Red List Approved and Declared labels. Declare is a voluntary self-disclosure program designed by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) which aims to transform the building materials industry towards healthier products through transparency.
DLCWattsttopperDLC, or Design Lights Consortium, is a program that promotes the quality, performance, and energy-efficiency of commercial lighting solutions.
DLCFineliteDesign Lights Consortium. A DLC listing means that a specific product has been tested to deliver superior energy efficiency. DLC-certified lighting fixtures generally offer higher lumens per watt (LPW). The higher the LPW, the more energy is converted into usable light (and the less energy is lost to heat and other inefficiencies).
Energy CodeWattsttopperLearn how Legrand has simplified the process by offering recommended code compliant solutions designed with Wattstopper products.
Energy StarFocal PointENERGY STAR is a voluntary program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that promotes energy efficiency in a wide range of consumer products and building systems. This supports the infection control standards established by healthcare facilities as it indicates that the luminaire is easy to sanitize.
NSF P442KenallThis protocol is a series of minimum requirements for the design, construction, performance, and certifications of luminaires for cleanrooms. It requires ingress protection IEC 60529/60598 (IP-65) and NSF-2 Food Equipment certifications and a performance test for pressure decay resistance in which the sealed fixture is stressed with positive and negative pressure and checked to ensure that no leaks are present.
NSF P495KenallA new standard of cleanliness that validates the disinfection of surfaces via narrow spectrum visible light (400 nm - 420 nm) in a controlled environment. The P495 certification demonstrates a statistically significant reduction of Staphylococcus Aureus and/or Clostridium Difficile endospores on clinically relevant surfaces, such as stainless steel and laminate. Luminaires must also be NSF-2 compliant.
NSF2KenallAn NSF2 Listing denotes that the luminaire has been evaluated for corrosion resistance, cleanability and the ability of  exposed material to withstand normal wear. Title 24 JA8Finelite

"Title 24 is the sixth section of the California Energy Code that states that all residential and non-residential buildings must only use a capped number of watts per linear foot of luminaires to reduce energy consumption. Our products are highly efficient and can be tailored to your exact light output requirements to help you achieve project goals.

An Addendum to the California Energy Code - JA8 is a subsection of Title 24 that lists specific requirements a light source must meet to qualify as residential lighting. This includes points like CRI > 90, CCT < 4000k, R9 > 50, and 6 other categories. We’re proud to say that our products have qualified under these standards."

Title 24 JA8Focal Point

"California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standard Title 24, Part 6 is designed to ensure new and existing residential and nonresidential buildings achieve energy efficiency. Considered one of the strictest energy codes in the United States, it is published and regularly updated by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to preserve the quality of the environment through the reduction of energy usage by limiting the allowed lighting power, in watts, in a building. Residential luminaires must be certified to meet the High Efficacy Lighting standards under Joint Appendix 8 (JA8).

Our 2016 & 2019 JA8 High Efficacy Lighting luminaires meet the strict energy standards and other criteria specified by the CEC for both residential and nonresidential applications, ensuring energy savings without compromising on light quality."
