Legrand® Provides Sneak Peek of Wattstopper® Architectural Dimming and Human Centric Lighting Solutions at LEDucation 2017

New York, March 28, 2017, LEDucation – Legrand, North America is previewing the latest Wattstopper solutions that bring effortless and integrated lighting controls into modern commercial spaces at LEDucation 2017. Located in Booths # GB 804 and GB 806, visitors can learn about new products in the Wattstopper architectural dimming platform and see a sample of Human Centric Lighting solutions that will be on full display at LIGHTFAIR International 2017.

Simply Delivering on Experience

The Wattstopper architectural dimming platform delivers on the total experience – meeting precise dimming and energy conservation goals while simplifying the end-user experience with a range of unique user interfaces. New to the platform and on display is the Commercial Equinox User Interface (UI), which provides effortless management and control of the most complex lighting systems.

The UI software comes installed on Equinox touchscreens or downloadable as an app on mobile devices. The UI features intuitive navigation and a simple user experience that make it easy for users to control lighting from simple on/off to complex scenes, shades, dynamic white, and color control to ‘divide and combine’ applications.

The UI follows a string of product launches for the architectural dimming platform, which includes the Lighting Control and Automation Panel (LCAP) with Main Lug option that will be launched soon. This all-in-one solution combines the LCAP panel with an integrated circuit breaker panel making specification and installation easy. Its design makes it easy to fit into smaller electrical rooms or in areas with space constraints. The main lug panel comes pre-wired to the dimmer and relay modules which reduces wiring time during installation.

Advancing Human Centric Lighting Applications

Legrand will also provide a small demo of its Wattstopper Human Centric Lighting solutions, which includes a look at a new logic module that enables fixtures to deliver the highest quality, most natural tunable lighting available. Legrand will also show the new Digital Lighting Management (DLM) Color Control Scene and Schedule switches that provide sleek, easy and intuitive CCT (corrected color temperature) control.
