Three Wattstopper® Products Accepted into Prestigious IES 2016 Progress Report

San Jose, CA, October 18, 2016 – Legrand, North America announced today that three Wattstopper products received recognition from the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Committee. The Wattstopper DLM 0-10V dimming room controller (LMRC-110 Series), 0-10V dimming wall switch occupancy sensor (DW-311) and Segment Manager 2.1 network controller have been accepted into the 2016 IES Progress Report in the Controls category.

Acceptance in the Progress Report is based on an impartial judging process used by the IES Progress Committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry. Product highlights:
- LMRC-110 series room controllers are the first devices to include both Class 1 pigtails and Class 2 terminals for 0-10V conductors with galvanic isolation making it the safest solution on the market. As the foundation of the DLM platform, these installation friendly room controllers simplify code mandated multi-level control requirements and integration into intelligent buildings. It also features voltage and current measurement options as well as Plug n’ Go™ and Push n’ Learn™ for automatic configuration and easy personalization, saving contractors time and hassle.
- Segment Manager 2.1 is a powerful, easy-to-use tool to help lighting professionals at any experience level achieve building energy efficiency and optimization with valuable information for each space and a visual history of the site’s operation. It brings two new capabilities to the industry. The first is the tile-based interface that allows users to easily group controls by room, area, floor, and building into their desired view. The second is the ability to automatically populate tiles into the dashboard when integrated into the DLM system. Real-time analytics and simple interface allows facility managers to understand how the lighting system is operating and quickly address any problems in their building.
- DW-311 dual technology 0-10V dimming wall switch occupancy sensor is a specification grade solution providing building and energy code compliant occupancy-based and dimming control for LED lighting systems. This sensor gives customers a higher level of performance and energy savings out of their LED fixtures. The DW-311 provides additional flexibility by providing line of sight occupancy sensing with Passive Infrared Technology, while the Ultrasonic technology detects movement in environments that may have partitions like restrooms, hallways and office spaces. Adding the DW-311 to LED Lighting renovation projects can save even more energy in lighting upgrade projects.
