WattStopper's Eric Fournier Joins CABA Board of Directors


SANTA CLARA, CA. May 16, 2013 – WattStopper and the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) have announced that Eric Fournier has joined CABA’s Board of Directors.

"I am looking forward to working with CABA to contribute to the development and application of technology and automation solutions that will improve the comfort, productivity and efficiency of today's homes and buildings," stated Fournier. "CABA contributes an important perspective to our industry, bringing a unique mix of companies, individuals and organizations together to advance the adoption of home and building automation solutions, and ultimately, drive toward a net zero future."

Fournier joined WattStopper/Legrand in 2006. As Director of the company's Systems Business Unit, he is responsible for strategic directions and profitability of energy efficient lighting control solutions that seamlessly integrate with building automation systems.

He is a LEED Accredited Professional and IES member with more than 15 years of experience in the lighting control industry. Fournier started his career with Lutron Electronics, where he held various positions including sustaining engineering, new product development, product management and corporate business analysis.

Over the years, he brought to market multiple categories of lighting controls including dimmers, occupancy sensors and intelligent lighting control systems for residential and commercial markets in North America, Europe and Latin America. Fournier earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering from ENIT, France. He has authored a number of lighting control published articles and has conducted presentations to lighting designers, electrical engineers, installers and system integrators at LIGHTFAIR International and company sponsored training and education programs.
